
Hello and welcome to my first ever blog. The reason for this blog is merely to cure my boredom at work so it’s only right that my first post gives advice on how you yourself can avoid the same situation.
A guide to preventing mental insanity in the workplace
- Minimise your time at work by turning up late and leaving early. An extra 5 minutes on your lunch won’t hurt either
- Wearing your fit bit, go to the toilet as many times as possible and march up and down in the cubicle
- Assume the hand on mouse position every time someone comes into your office. Scratch your head and squint at the screen to give the impression you are grafting like fuck.
- Make a coffee at any given opportunity, even if you don’t want a coffee. MAKE A COFFEE. The more sweeteners the better, everyone could use a legal high at work. If you don’t drink the coffee, leave it on your desk for all to see and boast how you’ve been so busy you couldn’t even finish your drink.
- Deposit some money into an online gambling website. This will keep you busy for at least 3 minutes. You can then wallow in self pity when you lose, this will probably last all day.
These are just a few things I do whilst at work. Sometimes I like to convince myself I have different illnesses and then google the fuck out of them but I understand this isn’t for everyone.
